Receiver is a 35 Turn loop in a Birch forest and a M0BMU pre amp into a 96K sound card. the sensitivity slope and reduction as it goes HF is intentional but JJY on 40kHz is still seen just pre dawn and some hours afterwards. Utility station DHO38 53°10'N 7°33'E near Rhauderfehn, Leer district, in Lower Saxony some 7,113.88Kms on bearing 011.97 degrees True (just East of North from Wasilla), is my target of choice for potential and rather optimisitic chances of seeing signals from Europe on the "Dreamers"band of 8970Hz and lower
From Wasilla the route to Europe passes over a number of Mountain ranges; firstly the Talkeetnas at 5000ft some 7 miles to my North, and then the Alaska range to 15-20,000ft @ 100 Miles
These are likely to be having some affects on the wave front after reading some recent papers. We are located some 7 miles North of the City of Wasilla. The station is remotely controlled via smoking mirrors from Oklahoma via Citrix - Displays courtesy of DL4YHF's Amateur Radio Software: Audio Spectrum Analyzer ("Spectrum Lab") 73 Laurence KL7UK
